Canadian Zippos
The post-war era marked a boom in Zippo's popularity, and Canadian production ramped up to meet demand across the Commonwealth. Collectors often seek these lighters for their subtle design differences, such as unique bottom stamps (e.g., "Niagara Falls, Ont."), and variations in case material and finish. Lighters from this period reflect post-war industrial craftsmanship and often feature advertising logos, military insignias, or commemorative engravings tied to Canadian culture and industry. Because Canadian Zippos were produced in smaller quantities than their U.S. counterparts, examples in excellent condition are relatively rare and can command premium interest among collectors.
